About me

Why the name '”By the water”? It refers to Jeremiah 17:7-8, that the one who trusts in the Lord is like a tree that sends out its roots toward the the water. This water is not like the water we drink, which temporarily quenches thirst, as Jesus speaks of in John 4:13-14;  “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again. But whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a fount of water springing up to eternal life.” This has been a starting point and inspiration for the work of creating my compositions, which others in turn can use to express their faith and give the Bible verse a place in their daily lives.

This company has been a small seed that has been waiting in the ground for many years, but a few years ago it began to sprout. I have always enjoyed creating with my hands: sketching and painting, and during the hectic toddler years, the camera has been a convenient way to be creative. But it is in recent years that I have begun to long to do something new for the Lord, preferably using my creativity, and help spread God's word in my home country Sweden, as well as outside of my country's borders.

Then doors opened for me to take some courses in graphic design. And it has been incredibly fun! But I thought that maybe this would go no further; I can't run a business! But then another door opened, allowing me to take a business start-up course – so now I am sitting and writing this letter for my website, which I am actually beginning to believe can become a reality.
